A Special Tribute

By Mark Podmore
Aunt Bobby has helped me many times since my mother passed away in 2003. After my mother died, Aunt Bobby and Uncle Harlan have always welcomed me into their home during the holidays.
Bobbie and Harlan spent much of their married life in Missouri. They have always been very much in love. To this very day, when you walk in the door, you can see how much the two care for each other. That deep, special kind of love is admired by all. They are the original “soul mates”!

Bobbie is a wonderful cook. She shared many of her recipes with family members and spends many hours during the holidays baking scrumptious cookies, baked goods and treats to share with everyone.

Visits from Bobbie and Harlan when they lived in Missouri meant there would always be a family gathering; something many of the Holder cousins still miss to this very day.

Bobbie, too, always has a way of making one feel at home. She always takes care of everyone; regardless of how she is feeling. Through the years, Bobbie and Harlan always took very good care of Margaret. Sandy Rice was always ready and available to help Margaret any way possible. Bobbie’s tenacity and wonderful spirit always makes one feel a part of the family and she’s always glad to receive visitors. She never lets anything get her down and always has kind words for all!
